The latest collection from Edwin has definitely been a standout, offering a range of heritage pieces, specialty denim as well as an artistic collaboration with London based tattooist, Teide. The collaboration features original artwork, printed and embroidered on tees, shirts and jackets. The souvenir style has resulted in a number of unique, detailed outerwear pieces.
As always, the European line has brought with it a variety of easy-wearing pieces with particular attention to fabric, cut and dye. A strong presence of indigo dye can be seen, adding a vibrant and textured tone to the products such as the Cell Shirt and Raglan sweat. These rich hues are complimented by options of both clean raw and worn slubby denim.
Heavy weight shirting makes up a large portion of the outerwear offerings. Constructed from a smooth structured cotton, the Beast Teide Shirt features contrasting embroidered detail on both front and back. The Corporal Jacket draws inspiration from the staple military M-65 jacket, constructed from a starchy textured cotton with four bellowed front pockets and front button closure.
Another one down and we couldn’t be happier with the turnout. A huge thanks to all those who came out to see Calypso Steve and DJ Vegetable on Saturday night. More from BLESS coming soon. Stay tuned.
