Apartment first opened its doors in 2006, operating from a modest retail space in Elizabeth Arcade, Brisbane. The store primarily articulated an appreciation for sneakers and high-end streetwear, imparting principles that have since rendered Apartment as a premium menswear retailer.
The store’s restrained curation of independent labels has consistently provided clientele with quality garments. In addition to retailing labels from Russia, Denmark and Canada, Apartment is renowned for its focus on exclusive Japanese labels including Neighborhood, Wtaps and Visvim. Apartment is also home to Brisbane’s Carharrt WIP store, stocking the complete collection from the European branch of the brand including collaborations with labels such as A.P.C and Adam Kimmel.

2014 saw the opening of Ben’s Burgers and A Love Supreme Records. Ben’s Burgers specialises in American-style burgers and fries, with a store in both Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley and West End. A Love Supreme Records is an events company and record store, focused on introducing Brisbane to contemporary musicians and celebrating classic soul, funk and jazz. The three enterprises operate synonymously to form an unprecedented community sphere within Brisbane, centred upon providing the public with superior clothing, food and music.
